Erin is a graduate student in the Curriculum for the Environment and Ecology at UNC. She studies seafood mislabeling, community-based fisheries management, and effectiveness of marine protected areas in the Caribbean. She is also a National Geographic Explorer and has conducted research on invasive species management from Florida to Fiji. Before UNC, she worked for Ocean Conservancy in Washington, D.C.
